Entrepreneurs wishing to apply to participate in the EASY Investment Forum event should meet the following criteria:

  • High growth potential in the agreed sectors
  • Marked international focus
  • Seeking business angel and early stage funding
  • Have already identified investor interest in their own country

All the selected companies will receive support in preparation for the event and further coaching the day before the Investment Forum event presentation.

The EASY Investment Forum is aimed at investors interested in seeking cross-border investment opportunities in internationally focused early stage businesses across Europe in the identified sectors.

At the event you will receive details of all of the selected companies in advance, see pitch presentations from each of the companies and have the opportunity to meet and network with fellow early stage investors from across Europe with a view to potential syndications.

Sophia Antipolis, the leading international technology science park located in the countryside of the French Riviera, is the setting for the next EASY Cross-Border Investment Forum to be held on the 20th and 21st November 2008. Established over 40 years ago, Sophia Antipolis is home to over 1,300 companies, 150 of which are foreign-owned and employs 27,000 people covering 70 nationalities. This event, organised by the EASY partnership in association with Sophia Business Angels, CERAM Business School, Foundation Sophia Antipolis and France Angels, offers investors from business angel networks, seed and early stage VC funds from across Europe the chance to identify investment opportunities in 25 selected European companies representing the following four sectors:
